Leaders, as the word is defined, Lead. They lead others to success. They are not called Doers, they are not called Draggers, and certainly they are not called Do-it-On-My Own-ers. I was told early in my career that you can’t be a leader if no one is interested in following you. Remember, you don’t have to manage a team to be a leader. You can be a leader by your actions, by your behavior, attitude, and reputation. Eventually, people will come to see you as a leader and the management part will come. Inspire others to WANT to follow you, and when you succeed, everyone will feel the glory.
